Private equity-backed RIA Pure Financial Advisors has made its first acquisition since the end of 2023.
The San Diego-based company has purchased Personal Investment Management (PIM), a Redmond, Wash.-based wealth management firm with roughly $567m in client assets under management. Specific financial terms of the transaction, which closed on March 14, were not disclosed.
For Pure, which manages roughly $7.4bn in client assets, the deal is the first it has closed since its late 2023 acquisitions of $240m Symphony Financial Planning in Davis, Calif. and $90m Portland, Ore.-area Crestline Capital.
