With many young people ready to leave school or setting their employment goals for 2025, the council’s Employability team, in partnership with DYW Ayrshire, is proud to announce it is delivering an upcoming recruitment event.
For the third year running, the event will provide the opportunity to find out more about apprenticeships, jobs, training and college courses and is being hosted at Ayrshire College, Kilwinning Campus, on Wednesday 5 March.
Young people are invited along to drop-in between 5.30pm and 7.30pm to explore local employment and training opportunities.
Our Employability team – as part of the Your Next Move, Working North Ayrshire employability programme – will be in attendance at the event to discuss opportunities within the council and with the many local employers.
Other stall holders will include Ayrshire College, Developing the Young Workforce, Skills Development Scotland and a host of local businesses.
The event will welcome young people, educators, parents and carers to learn more about the variety of opportunities available locally and speak directly to employers.
Quote: The upcoming employment event at Ayrshire College is a brilliant opportunity to discover the wide array of exciting employment opportunities across North Ayrshire. As key influencers over a young person’s decision-making, we really encourage parents and carers to attend with young people to explore the many different fantastic opportunities Ayrshire businesses have to offer. Everyone is welcome.

Whether attendees are looking for tailored support, more information on what opportunities are available, or tips on how to take a step up the career ladder, the event is geared to help everyone to achieve their future goals.
Tickets are free for the drop-in event, book online now. Stay tuned for more updates by following the Employability
