Alliance Global profit up 66% to P11B in Q1

ALLIANCE Global Group Inc. (AGI) posted a consolidated net income of P11.0 billion in the first quarter (Q1) of 2025, up 66 percent year on year and driven largely by a one-time gain from the deconsolidation of Golden Arches Development Corp.

The company said it recognized a P3.4-billion gain from the deconsolidation of Golden Arches, the operator of McDonald’s Philippines, after the latter obtained a new license from McDonald’s Corp.
