Armanino has expanded into Utah with the addition of Cooper Savas, a full-service public accounting company based in Salt Lake City.
This acquisition further extends Armanino’s national reach and improves the firm’s capacity to serve clients throughout the US.
Established in 2011, Cooper Savas offers tax, accounting, and assurance services. It has a team of 35 professionals, many of whom have backgrounds with Big Four accounting firms.
Their customer base includes businesses from multiple industries, both regionally and nationally.
Through this acquisition, clients of Cooper Savas will gain access to Armanino’s range of tax solutions.
These offerings cater to changing business requirements in areas such as international tax, R&D tax credits, and state and local tax.
In addition, clients will be able to utilise Armanino’s specialised consulting services for corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and strategic business planning.
This broadened capability is designed to deliver tailored assistance for intricate tax and growth objectives.

In accordance with Armanino’s alternative practice structure, the firm is acquiring both the non-attest and attest assets of Cooper Savas.
