Hi all, please join us in extending a warm welcome to Andrea Chang, our newest addition to the Global Biz editing pool. She will be based in LA.
Andrea joins us from the Los Angeles Times, where she held a variety of editing and reporting roles during her 18 years at the newspaper. As an assistant Business editor, she oversaw autos and technology coverage and launched a standalone luxury real estate section. She also managed the day-to-day operations of the Food department as deputy editor. As a reporter, she covered beats including retail, technology, restaurants and wealth.
She graduated from Northwestern University with a journalism degree and grew up in Cupertino, California. Her superpower is the ability to find prime parking anywhere, which has served her well in LA.
Andrea will start May 19, and she’ll spend her first two weeks at 731 Lex. When she’s back in LA, she’ll sit next to Lindsay and join our growing Global Biz pod there.
