Ropes & Gray represented Collaborative Fund in its investment in Smash Kitchen, a new business venture by actor and producer Glen Powell. Powell announced the launch of Smash Kitchen on April 2.
Collaborative Fund is a venture capital firm investing across asset classes, identifying and supporting companies that live at the intersection of for-profit and for-good.
Smash Kitchen was founded by Powell, Sameer Mehta and Sean Kane, and markets ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, BBQ sauce and other condiments made from organic ingredients.
The team was led by venture capital and emerging companies partner Brad Flint and associate Joe Muller.
