Copenhagen-based tech startup Signal has successfully raised €550K in a funding round backed by prominent investors, including Sonu Banga, Eske Gunge, Christian Jantzen, Philipp Baecker, Mikael Bondum, alongside experienced venture capitalists. Signal offers a cutting-edge AI-driven intelligence platform tailored to the needs of venture capital and private equity funds. The platform helps investors identify and track investment opportunities, monitor competitors, and stay ahead of market developments in real-time. With this funding, Signal plans to accelerate product development, expand its team, and pursue global growth, aiming to establish itself as a leader in AI-powered investment insights.
Signal’s platform leverages advanced artificial intelligence to help venture and private equity funds identify and monitor investment opportunities, competitors, and market developments in real-time. The platform’s data-driven insights enable investors to swiftly make more strategic and informed decisions. Since its launch in early 2024, Signal has quickly expanded, onboarding more than 35 venture funds across three continents and significantly growing its team, the latest addition is CTO Jakob Offersen.

Founders Simon Bøttkjær and Jacob Graubæk Houlberg, both with backgrounds in the venture capital industry, have positioned Signal at the forefront of the AI-driven transformation in investing.

Signal has simultaneously strengthened its team with the hiring of Jakob V. Offersen as the new CTO. Jakob joins from the startup Spektr, where he has gained extensive experience in developing and scaling tech platforms.
