Hyderabad: Around 80 startups incubated in Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) labs will participate in the Startup Conclave Hyderabad 2025, set to open on April 22. The two-day event is being organised by CSIR-IICT, CSIR-CCMB, and CSIR-NGRI under the theme “catalysing innovation, connecting ecosystems.”
“The conclave will spotlight CSIR-driven startups, especially those nurtured by our three Hyderabad-based CSIR labs,” said Srinivasa Reddy, director, IICT.
The event will bring together entrepreneurs, investors, industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers to share insights and explore collaborations aimed at strengthening India’s innovation ecosystem.
Prakash Kumar, director of NGRI, said the conclave will also focus on startups addressing key R&D challenges, such as earthquake risk mitigation and sustainable resource management.
Vinay Nandicoori, director of CCMB, said the event will showcase deep-tech startups contributing to healthcare, chemical, and geophysical sectors. “These ventures offer inspiration for young innovators to pursue entrepreneurship,” he added.
Union minister Jitendra Singh will inaugurate the conclave. CSIR director general N Kalaiselvi and Union minister G Kishan Reddy are also expected to attend.
