DLA Piper continues the expansion of its Emerging Growth and Venture Capital practice with the addition of Jeff Klein

DLA Piper is pleased to welcome Jeff Klein as a Partner in the Emerging Growth and Venture Capital (EGVC) practice. He will be based in the New York office.

Klein advises high-growth technology and other companies through all stages of the corporate lifecycle, as well as investors that support these companies. He has deep experience in formation issues (including founder equity issues), venture, growth and other equity financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), commercial transactions, external general counsel matters, securities laws, corporate governance, and joint ventures.

Klein’s arrival follows the recent additions of Brady Berg, Kevin Milgram, Ken Funahashi, and Brian Burke, demonstrating the firm’s commitment to the growth of its national EGVC practice.

DLA Piper’s Emerging Growth and Venture Capital practice includes more than 200 lawyers who provide strategic counsel to emerging companies in high-growth industries, including technology, healthcare, pharma & biotech, financial services, manufacturing, and communications.
