Dr. Tufael receives Global Business, CSR Award

The “Global Business and CSR Awards 2025” award ceremony and a discussion meeting titled “What We Can Do for Bangladesh’s Economic Prosperity” were held yesterday at an elite five-star hotel in the capital.

Dr. Tufael, a renowned biochemist at Ibn Sina Diagnostic and Imaging Center in Dhaka, has been awarded the prestigious “Best Laboratory Scientist Award” at the Global Business & CSR Awards 2025. Held on a grand international stage, the event celebrated the achievements of 52 eminent individuals from around the world, recognizing their impactful contributions across diverse sectors. Dr. Tufael was honored for his exceptional work in healthcare, particularly in the field of medical diagnostics.

His pioneering contributions to clinical biochemistry have significantly advanced diagnostic precision in Bangladesh. With deep expertise in biomarker analysis, test standardization, and laboratory quality control, Dr. Tufael has transformed the diagnosis and management of conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and metabolic disorders. Through the development of cutting-edge diagnostic protocols and the implementation of stringent quality assurance systems at Ibn Sina Diagnostic Center, he has established new national standards in laboratory medicine.

Dr. Tufael’s work has not only enhanced the reliability of medical testing but has also led to earlier and more accurate diagnoses—directly improving patient outcomes across the country. His leadership continues to shape the future of healthcare through scientific innovation and uncompromising commitment to excellence.

The chief guest of the event was Abdul Hai Sarkar, Honorable Chairman of Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB). Ekushey Padak awardee and BNP Chairperson’s advisor Professor Dr. Sukomal Barua was present as the main discussant.
