€33m raised by two Dublin-based biotech startups

Funding rounds for Deciphex (€15m) and Aerska (€18m) have rounded off a strong week for Irish biotech companies

Deciphex, the Glasnevin-based biotech company, has raised €15m in venture debt funding, following a €31m Series C round earlier this year.

The company, founded and led by Donal O’Shea, will use the cash to grow its business internationally, particularly the US. It says it wants to be the market leader in the UK by 2027.
