Electric Guitar, Surface Transforms, Trafalgar Property

Another day of gains for the AIM All Share is setting the index on course for its best one month advance in percentage terms since the end of 2020. Tonight’s FOMC meeting minutes seem unlikely to derail anything here, but those US tech earnings releases will likely remain in focus.

  • Electric Guitar +29%
  • Surface Transforms +29%
  • Trafalgar Property +25%
  • ANGLE -23%
  • Riverfort -14%

Electric Guitar LON:ELEG topped the board adding 29% in an unremarkable day of trade when it came to volumes. This is however a minnow of a stock which is down 95% on the year and the closing spread was quoted at 20%.

Surface Transforms LON:SCE was also up 29%. Again no news but a sharp increase in traded volumes was recorded today with the stock having made steady progress over the last few weeks following a financing and trading update.

Trafalgar Property LON:TRAF gets the notable mention, adding 25% following news of an asset disposal which generated net proceeds of £95k. Whilst that may seem excessive, the market cap of under £500k does put matters into context.

ANGLE LON:AGL was the biggest faller, off 23% after markets gave a tepid reaction to the company’s preliminary results filing. Whilst there was cause for cheer in the numbers, slow progress and the withdrawal of some grant funding does seem to be weighing. Will more fund raising be necessary?

Riverfort LON:RGO was in second to last place, down 14%. Last night saw a brace of corporate announcements from the company including the approval of a capital raise.
