The Mississippi Department of Employment Security unveiled its new Mobile WIN Job Center. The truck will work with the various 36 WIN job centers across the state. Governor Tate Reeves joined the Mississippi Department of Employment Security Executive Director Bill Ashley Thursday morning at the Mississippi Trade Mart.The Mobile WIN Job Center will begin its mission in Simpson County.”It’s about helping Mississippians get jobs, and that’s one of the things I have talked about for the entirety of my tenure in government is what can we do to help Mississippians get better jobs. How can we help train Mississippians to get better jobs, and that’s what today is all about,” Reeves said. The governor said Mississippi has very low unemployment rates and a lot of job availability. “It’s about training Mississippi’s workforce, not for the jobs of the last 50 years, but for the jobs of the next 50 years,” Reeves said.
