European commissioners have recommended suspending Israeli startups involved in technologies that could be used in military contexts from participating in the European Research Council’s (ERC) prestigious Horizon Europe grant program. Among the companies likely to be affected are those working in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and drone technologies.
