EU wants to force online retailers to European shipping /

For quite some time now the European Union has tried to remove barriers to the pan-European online shopping order.

With its new policy, the EU Parliament now wants to force online retailers to offer their goods to all 27 EU countries. If the new policy is actually enforced, online retailers would have to employ their terms and conditions taking into account the local requirements of all 27 countries.

For European online shoppers this may be great, but this could make online business, especially for small companies, risky. If some EU countries are not supplied, the online retailer would have to expect penalties.
