Eurobank and BNP Paribas hosted a client dinner in Nicosia on March 4, in order to discuss global investment prospects and emerging opportunities in international markets.
According to an announcement from Eurobank, the event was organised by the bank’s private banking division in cooperation with the asset management arm of BNP Paribas, bringing together clients for a discussion on current market developments and investment strategies.
The gathering formed part of Eurobank’s broader collaboration with international financial organisations, aimed at giving clients access to global investment analysis and capital management strategies.
Through these partnerships, the announcement explained, the bank seeks to provide specialised financial expertise and advanced advisory services to support its wealth management offering.
The initiative is designed to enhance the quality of services provided to Eurobank clients in the field of wealth management, enabling them to benefit from insights offered by leading financial advisers and investment specialists.
Presentations during the event were delivered by Daniel Morris, chief market strategist and co-head of the Investment Insight Centre at BNP Paribas Asset Management, and Sofi Demopoulou, head of distribution for Luxembourg and the eastern Mediterranean at the same organisation.
Morris focused his presentation on macroeconomic analysis of financial markets, examining current investment conditions as well as the risks and opportunities shaping global markets.
His analysis explored the current investment outlook and key risk factors affecting financial markets, providing participants with an overview of trends influencing global asset allocation.
Demopoulou presented on the role of thematic investments and their benefits in portfolio management, highlighting how targeted investment themes can support diversification strategies.
The event also featured remarks by Eurobank chief executive officer Michalis Louis, who addressed attendees on behalf of the bank.
Louis pointed out that wealth management has always been a key pillar of Eurobank’s strategy.
Moreover, he also emphasised the experience and expertise of the bank’s staff.
Louis further referred to the bank’s international partnerships with organisations such as BNP Paribas Asset Management, which expand the investment capabilities offered to clients.
“Through these partnerships we are able to offer our clients more investment options for identifying opportunities, as well as a personalised investment experience,” Louis said.
