Brussels – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, and the European Union Commissioner for Startups, Research, Innovation, and Investment, Ekaterina Zaharieva, held extensive discussions focused on enhancing cooperation between Jordan and the European Union, particularly in the sectors of startups and innovation.اضافة اعلان

This meeting follows up on the talks held by Safadi and Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Zeina Toukan, with senior EU officials on Wednesday, which covered enhancing cooperation and finalizing the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement, which is expected to be signed soon.

Safadi also held discussions with European Council President Antonio Costa, European Commission Vice President and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, as well as the EU Political and Security Committee, on enhancing cooperation between Jordan and the EU across various vital sectors and regional developments.

Additionally, Safadi and Toukan met with European Commissioners for Equality and Crisis Management, Nadia Calviño and Janez Lenarčič, to discuss extensive talks on economic cooperation, investment programs, and the ongoing efforts to finalize the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement between Jordan and the EU.
