FOX CITIES (WLUK) — A leading international business publication has recognized a Northeast Wisconsin chamber of commerce as the state’s most impactful.
FDI Insider named the Fox Cities Chamber the “Most Impactful Chamber in Wisconsin.”
It comes on the heels of the Fox Cities Chamber being recognized as National Chamber of the Year and a Wisconsin Innovation Award Winner in the Nonprofit Category in 2024.
“This recognition affirms the strength of our Chamber and members, as we partner together to drive economic growth and prosperity for the region,” said Chamber President and CEO Becky Bartoszek. “It reflects the intentional work we’ve done to break down barriers, engage the entire business community — especially our smallest employers — and lead with bold, member-focused innovation.”
FDI Insider uses a rigorous, merit-based approach in selecting award recipients based on objective evaluations of their contributions, rather than popularity or votes.
“The FDI Insider awards program recognizes organizations and leaders who embody innovation, strategic foresight, and sustained influence in their respective markets,” a news release states.
The Chamber was honored for its impact, community engagement, and innovation, with primary focus on its Connect Free membership. The Chamber was the first in the state and one of the first in the nation to offer a free membership level for small businesses.
