Glenn Thorsen has joined Sydney-based sustainable aviation data firm Envest Global as head of global business development, with a focus on growing the corporate travel buyer and sustainability manager customer base, specifically in the European market. Additionally, Thorsen aims to develop new partnerships across airlines and travel management companies to build awareness around Envest Global’s data that includes sustainable operation performance of more than 100 airlines.

Thorsen will also provide corporate travel sustainability consulting
services via his newly established Green Phoenix Consulting, as a separate venture. Thorsen most recently served in FCM’s consulting practice as the company’s sustainability lead and prior to that at Thrust Carbon. Thorsen is the son of Envest Global strategic advisor Johnny Thorsen, who recently took up a new post as VP of strategic business development for New Zealand-based Serko.
