Granola secures €38.5M funding to expand AI-powered notetaking platform

Munich-based OroraTech has extended its Series B funding round to €37 million, with new investments from BNP Paribas Solar Impulse Venture Fund and Rabo Ventures. Hystar makes highly efficient PEM electrolysers for the large-scale production of green hydrogen. Cardiff-based startup Space Forge has raised $30M in Series A funding to develop ultra-efficient semiconductors and advanced materials in orbit. Helsinki-based TILT Biotherapeutics has raised $25.6 million in a Series B funding round to progress its lead candidate, TILT-123, an oncolytic adenovirus therapy. The funds will support a Phase 2 trial targeting platinum-resistant ovarian cancer, building on promising Phase 1 results that demonstrated a 71% disease control rate and systemic immune activation when combined with pembrolizumab. Tritemius launches €21M fund

ClearQuote wins at Last Mile Nexus Europe

At the European edition of Last Mile Nexus 2025 in Amsterdam, three logistics tech startups pitched live to a panel of industry leaders. UK-based ClearQuote emerged as the winner, showcasing its AI-powered vehicle damage assessment tool designed to reduce fleet downtime. Hosted by FarEye and powered by EightRoads, the event marked the platform’s European debut after earlier editions in Asia and Africa. Finalists also included Shiptimize (Portugal), which offers shipping automation for SMEs, and Datakrew (Poland), which focuses on predictive analytics for electric delivery fleets and sustainable infrastructure.

Huma acquires Aluna

Huma Therapeutics has announced that it has entered a strategic partnership with Eckuity Capital to co-develop next-generation digital health infrastructure, with a strong focus on regulatory alignment and innovation in care and research. Additionally, Huma has acquired U.S.-based Aluna (Knox Medical Diagnostics), a specialist in intelligent remote monitoring for respiratory conditions.

MedVasc raises funding to develop preparation for Solutio device

Lund-based MedVasc, a Swedish medical technology company announced that it has raised SEK 10 million financing round. The funding supports the company’s final product development phase and preparation for FDA regulatory approval in the United States. Solutio is designed to enable safe and precise local anesthesia during minimally invasive vascular procedures, e.g. varicose veins, (compatible with thermal ablation treatment fibers), offering a new level of control and patient comfort for clinicians treating chronic venous disorders.

Glovo celebrates 10 years 

Glovo – the Barcelona-born tech startup behind one of Europe’s most recognisable delivery apps – is celebrating 10 years of rapid growth. The company just passed a major milestone: over 1 billion orders fulfilled, with operations now spanning 23 countries and 1,800 cities across Europe, Africa, and Central Asia.

TMA acquires DecisionWise

TMA announces the acquisition of DecisionWise, a US-based provider of cloud-based employee feedback and engagement solutions. This investment marks TMA’s first acquisition since starting its partnership with Main Capital Partners in December 2024. DecisionWise provides a platform for employee experience surveys, employee engagement and 360-degree feedback. The company serves about 450 customers in more than 70 countries. Its solutions are industry-independent and are used by customers in education, government, manufacturing and healthcare, among others.

Plakar secures $3M to launch open-source backup platform

Paris-based startup Plakar has raised $3 million in pre-seed funding to advance its open-source backup and restore platform. The round was led by Seedcamp, with participation from Kima Ventures, Motier Ventures, and others. Plakar’s platform aims to simplify data protection for businesses by offering immutable, encrypted snapshots that are easily recoverable. Progrow raises €2M in funding

Portuguese startup Progrow has secured €2 million in funding to further develop its industrial digitalization platform. The investment round was led by Touro Capital Partners. Progrow plans to launch version 3.0 of its platform, which will feature improved compatibility with industrial machinery and enhanced AI capabilities for real-time anomaly detection and operational insights. Studio 42 raises $3.6M to develop puzzle gaming

The company raised $3.6M in seed funding led by Play Ventures, with participation from GEM Capital and Arcadia Gaming Partners.
