Siebert CIO Column Now Available in Korean
Updated 4 to 5 Times a Week
AI-Powered Translation and Review System in Place
Kakao Pay Securities has partnered with U.S. financial group Siebert to provide Korean investors with market analysis content from local U.S. experts.
Since November 25, Kakao Pay Securities has been translating and offering the daily column of Mark Malek, Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Siebert, in Korean through its investment information channel, “Extremely Useful Investment News (Musseultu).”
Previously, Siebert executives visited Korea in August to discuss building a strategic partnership with Kakao Pay Securities. This collaboration is a follow-up measure that materializes the discussions held at that time.
The column provides professional analysis of the overall investment environment, including the U.S. stock market, economic trends, and corporate earnings. The content is regularly updated four to five times a week. It is designed to deliver complex global market trends in a simple and fast manner, allowing for deeper insights into overseas investment information.
Artificial intelligence (AI) technology has been applied to the translation process. The AI model performs the initial translation, after which an editor conducts a final review to ensure accuracy in tone and context. Kakao Pay Securities plans to further enhance the process by developing an AI agent that will automate the entire translation and review process once enough data has been accumulated, thereby improving both the speed and quality of content delivery.
The two companies are also discussing additional content to provide a more comprehensive view of the U.S. market. Kakao Pay Securities stated, “We will continue to expand content that can help bridge the information gap on overseas markets and serve as a reference for investment decisions.”
Siebert also expressed anticipation for the collaboration. Siebert said, “Through Kakao Pay Securities, we are able to directly deliver Siebert’s professional perspectives to Korean investors,” adding, “We expect that individual investors will be able to more easily access market insights that have traditionally been utilized by institutional investors.”
