VARANASI: A total of 15,187 youths secured employment during the two-day Kashi Sansad Rojgar Mela held at the Govt Industrial Training Institute in Karaudi on Saturday and Sunday. A total of 371 company representatives and 24,722 beneficiaries participated in the two-day event.
Uttar Pradesh’s minister of state for stamp and court registration fees (independent charge), Ravindra Jaiswal, distributed certificates to the candidates who gained employment on Sunday.
Representatives from 371 companies attended the fair, which featured an online registration system. Clinton Geo Engineering Private Limited employed 220 candidates, and Rastant Lucknow employed 144 candidates, making them the top employers at the fair. HDFC Bank and Saundarya Beauty Studio, Varanasi, offered the highest packages of Rs 4.2 lakhs per annum.
On the second day of the fair, beneficiaries who secured jobs expressed their gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for providing a golden opportunity for youth to become self-reliant.
The candidates emphasised that the employment fair not only provided jobs but also instilled a sense of self-respect and self-reliance.
Key attendees at the Kashi MP Employment Fair included Chief Development Officer Himanshu Nagpal, Parliamentary Public Relations Office In-charge Shivsharan Pathak, Kashi Region Media In-charge Navratan Rathi, Jagdish Tripathi, Rahul Singh, Arvind Singh, Sanjay Sonkar, Geeta Shastri, Ashok Yadav, Sandeep Raghuvanshi, Shailendra Mishra, Faujdar Pal, and Chhati Yadav.
