The town of Haverhill will once again be holding a market, which will be taking place along its High Street on Saturday, May 17.
Starting at 9am the Green Market, is celebrating all things to do with nature and sustainability, with something for everyone thanks to the range of vendors and street performers.
In addition to the regular Haverhill market stall holders you will be able to browse a selection of artisan and local businesses, with coffee, crafts, food, and eco skincare products being just some of the products that will be on offer.
There will be something for everyone. (Image: West Suffolk Council) For children, and those young at heart you will be able to follow ‘infamous explorer’ Captain Jon Voyage on his tropical tricycle with his orangutan companion Mr Business, who will be in the town from 11am.
From 10.30am, local artist Keith Hopewell will be running a workshop on creating artwork inspired by the wildlife in Haverhill, with the finished works contributing to a public art project that will be part of the High Street.
In addition to local wildlife you can also get up close with a range of exotic creepy crawlies thanks to the Mini Beasts Stall, which will have giant snails, millipedes, snakes and much more.

“This exciting event will not only provide an entertaining and educational experience for all ages, but will also support Haverhill’s commitment to local sustainability and wildlife preservation.
