Marston Investment Management, an asset management company specializing in alternative investment, announced on the 1st that it has launched “Maston Insight,” a digital page that provides analysis and prospects for the commercial real estate market.
Marston Insight was designed as a window to disclose commercial real estate information and House View accumulated by Marston Investment Management to the outside world beyond providing simple information.
The content is largely composed of three axes. These are in-depth market analysis reports prepared by Research & Strategy (R&S) headquarters, which specializes in research, field-based columns of field operators in charge of actual deal sourcing and operation, and domestic and foreign real estate trend articles delivered by internal and external experts.
This structure is intended to provide “real-world intelligence” that investors can use for actual decision-making by combining quantitative data analysis and vivid market sensations.
In particular, the commercial real estate market is an area where information asymmetry is severe due to limited access to information, so the attempt to convert institutional investor-level analysis data to a public platform is expected to contribute to enhancing information efficiency across the market.
The launch of the platform is a strategic attempt to provide high-quality information accessibility to market participants, breaking the practice of closed distribution of institutional-level research and investment insights in the domestic commercial real estate market.
“The commercial real estate market is growing rapidly as investors’ interest in alternative investments is increasing, but there were not many channels to access professional commercial real estate information,” said Yoon Ja-kyung, executive director of the strategic planning department at Marston Investment Management. “By continuously providing high-quality content that can practically help investment decisions through Marston Insight, we will improve information efficiency across the market and contribute to the creation of a sound investment ecosystem.”
