The event is aimed at positioning Da Nang as an emerging hub for innovation-driven startups seeking funding, according to the Da Nang Innovation Startup Support Center under the municipal Department of Science and Technology.

The summit serves as a bridge connecting entrepreneurs with angel investors, venture capital firms, and leading experts in the field of innovation.

Initiated in 2024, DAVAS is gradually building a robust ecosystem of venture and angel investors in the city.

Since its inception, the summit has facilitated meaningful connections between startup projects and domestic and international partners, helping them scale and secure investment.

This year’s event features prominent participation, with a combined investment capital of US$3.5 billion.

Besides, the summit is being attended by 60 experts, 30 startup support organizations, and 36 innovation-driven startups active in the technology, education, agriculture, and healthcare fields.

Vietnam accounts for the majority of the innovation projects at this year’s summit, with 24 coming from Da Nang, four from Ho Chi Minh City, three from Hanoi, and two from Can Tho and Nha Trang.
