Rupani, recounting his own experience, wrote, “Security told me I couldn’t carry my bag inside, with no lockers or alternatives—just, ‘Figure it out.’” At that moment, an auto driver approached him and said, “Sir, bag de do. Safe rakhunga, mera roz ka hai. ₹1,000 charge hai.”
This seemingly simple offer turned out to be a shrewd business. The auto driver, who remains unnamed, reportedly safeguards 20 to 30 bags daily for ₹1,000 each, raking in anywhere between ₹5 to ₹8 lakh a month—all without leaving his parking spot.
To operate legally, the driver has even tied up with a local police officer who owns a secure storage facility nearby. His auto serves as a convenient drop-off point, effectively acting as a customer acquisition tool for the locker service.
Describing it as “a masterclass in solving a hyper-specific pain point,” Rupani praised the man’s resourcefulness: no mobile app, no startup capital, no business degree—just pure hustle and a keen understanding of on-ground needs.
“This is the kind of entrepreneurship you don’t read in business books but wish you’d thought of first,” Rupani added.
While the story has garnered admiration across social media for its ingenuity, the driver’s identity and exact earnings have not been independently verified. Nonetheless, the account has sparked conversations about the power of observing problems closely—and building simple yet impactful solutions.
