Pakistan, France to boost business ties

Islamabad:Chairman/CEO of Global Trade Expo Centre (GTEC) Pakistan, Mazhar Thathal, led the 3rd Pakistan-France Trade & Business Delegation in May 2025 and held a high-level meeting with Sophie Sidos, President of France Foreign Trade Advisors (CNCCEF) & co-president MEDEF Europe and International.

The delegation was warmly received by Patricia Glazel, President French Foreign Trade Adviser to Asia, and Andreas Loulier, Head of Mission CNCCEF, and other. Discussions focused on expanding trade cooperation, exploring new business opportunities in the French market, and making strategic bilateral trade between Pakistan and France companies and business.

The French trade expressed strong interest in supporting Pakistani businesses, with a potential French delegation being invited to visit Pakistan in 2026 hosted by GTEC and the French Embassy to further promote mutual collaboration and other mutual collaboration between Global Trade Expo Centre Pakistan and France Foreign Trade Advisers and business community.
