Peter Brandt Predicts 50% Crash in XRP Market Cap by 2025

Legendary trader Peter Brandt has made a bearish prediction for XRP, forecasting that its market cap price could drop by 50% by the end of 2025.

On X, Brandt recently shared forecasts for multiple markets like the S&P 500, gold, Bitcoin, and oil. While he’s negative on Bitcoin and XRP, he remains hopeful about gold’s future.

Right now, XRP is trading at around $2.08, up about 1%, but its trading volume has dropped 29% to $1.7 billion. The coin has been moving in a tight range between $2.06 and $2.10, showing that investors are unsure about what’s next.

Brandt said XRP might stay around its current price until the end of 2025. But if the market turns more bearish, he believes its total value (market cap) could fall from $121.6 billion to just $60 billion. That would mean the price could drop to around $1.

Even so, recent trends suggest that Ripple’s coin could perform well in July. This expectation is backed by past years, where many altcoins, including XRP, have seen strong growth during this month.

Peter Brandt has also shared his view on Bitcoin, saying it will likely end the year around $84,000 based on chart analysis. He doesn’t believe there will be a big breakout any time soon.

This goes against what some other experts think. For example, Robert Kiyosaki recently said Bitcoin could reach $1 million in the next few years, which has boosted confidence among investors.

While Brandt is bearish on both Bitcoin and XRP, he’s very positive about gold. He predicts gold could reach $3,500 by the end of 2025 and even called it “Gold Finger, the market with the magic touch.”
