Jonathan Berkow: Sydney, as a credit analyst, you have to deal with dense regulatory material. I heard recently that you leveraged an AI agent to help you with that process.
Sydney Kyne: The impact’s been immense. I fed it a 200-page supervisory report from a European insurance regulator, and typically it would take my whole morning just to parse through the legal language.
JB: An agent changed that?
SK: Completely. It was able to distill the report down to core themes, illuminate areas where capital requirements changed and even build out a regulatory calendar. I went from wading through a sea of text to understanding what really mattered for our credit view in a matter of minutes.
JB: That sounds like a really big shift.
SK: It is. Instead of spending my time translating, now I can actually spend that time thinking about the implications and exercising judgment. And that’s what really moves our views forward.
