Rathbones Asset Management has appointed Francesca Guinane, former investment director at Schroders, as an investment specialist on its multi-asset team.
In her new role, Guinane will work alongside Tom Whitfield to support the broader multi-asset team, using her experience to help clients better understand the solutions they invest in.
Commenting on the move, Guinane said she was excited to join the team and was looking forward to working with clients and colleagues at Rathbones.
Craig Brown, commercial director at Rathbones Asset Management, said: “Francesca’s appointment further enhances our ability to communicate investment thinking, support clients and deliver high-quality insight across our multi-asset funds, Charity funds and MPS proposition.”
David Coombs, head of multi-asset at Rathbones Asset Management, added: “As market volatility and significant geopolitical shifts show no signs of abating, it is important we keep our investors and clients fully informed as to our latest strategy and respond quickly to requests for information.
“Francesca’s experience will help us to achieve this while allowing the fund managers to focus on the day-to-day running of our funds’ portfolios.”
Guinane spent 10 years at various roles at Schroders, but has also held positions at BlackRock, Bank of America Merrill Lynch and BNP Paribas.
