Venture capital and private equity firm Insight Partners has made a “strategic growth investment” in OptoScale, a Norwegian technology company providing real-time insights for fish farming via underwater imaging and AI.
The OptoScale systems uses cameras in aquaculture cages to capture real-time measurements of weight, lice and health.
“OptoScale stands out for its deep understanding of fish farming and has created a technology that directly addresses many of farmers’ most critical challenges,” commented Insight Partners managing directors Rachel Geller and Raja Atluri.
