The European Parliament is launching an interactive social network game, called Citzalia, which allows citizens to log in as avatars and experience the inner workings of parliament.

The project was started to help EU-citizens understand and also discuss EU legislation processes in a better way. The official launch of Cizalia will be in January of 2011, and will be available in 23 languages.

Citzalia is being developed by the European Service Communication Agency Network (ESN) based in Brussels.
