The Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs announced on the afternoon of the 9th that it will hold the “2025 Veterans Employment Fair” at the International Conference Hall of the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jung-gu, Seoul.

The Veterans Employment Fair, which marks its ninth anniversary since 2016, is an event that provides information on recruitment to young veterans and people of national merit to help them strengthen their job competitiveness. Support related to start-ups will also be provided.

Five financial companies, including Hana, Woori, NH Nonghyup Bank, and Kakao Bank, eight public institutions, including Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation, Incheon International Airport Corporation, and Korea Racing Authority, and 22 large companies, including Samsung Electronics, LH Electronics, Hyundai Mobis, Samsung SDI, Hanwha Aerospace, Hyundai Rotem, LG Energy Solution, SK Innovation and KT, will participate in this year’s event.

Ten preferential employment and start-up companies for military veterans will also participate in job consultations at the job fair. They include Hanwha System, Korea Airport, Hoban Construction, and CU.

In addition to recruitment counseling and recruitment briefing sessions for companies, the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs will hold a briefing session on the special employment system for veterans. It also operates a job and start-up counselor for discharged soldiers and a veterans employment counselor for those of national merit. Participants can also receive National Competency Standards (NCS) consulting, interviews, and cover letter consulting.
