Spencer Fane attorney Tracey Wallace spoke at the National Employment Law Council (NELC) 30th Anniversary Conference on April 10 in Los Angeles. Spencer Fane was also a sponsor for the three-day event.

Tracey joined the breakout session, Managing Effective Workplace Investigations. Comprised of  leading workplace investigators and in-house counsel, the panel explored real-life scenarios and provided advanced best practices ranging from identifying the right investigator and beginning the investigation to intricate questions regarding privilege, global investigations, the use of AI for investigations, and ensuring evidence preservation for potential litigation.

At Spencer Fane, Tracey helps clients proactively address critical labor and employment legal issues through preventive advice and counseling, allowing employers to minimize the risk of costly regulatory and compliance issues or litigious claims. With a broad range of experience in private practice, she represents an array of state, national, and international clients in the full spectrum of employment- and discrimination-related matters, often providing advice and counsel regarding FLSA reclassification and misclassification concerns and initiatives.
