Two PFS board members resign over ‘independence concerns’

Two more Personal Finance Society (PFS) board members have resigned, citing concerns ‘concerns about the culture and independence’ of the body.

Daniel Williams, an adviser at Hull-based Morgan Williams, joined the PFS board in July 2023, saying at the time it was the ‘leadership body who has to make sure we operate in a way that keeps members with us’.

But under two years later, Williams, a former New Model Adviser Top 35 Next Generation adviser, has resigned from the PFS board.
