UiPath, a global automation company, has partnered with HCLTech to help companies worldwide automate their operations using AI. The partnership aims to make businesses more efficient by reducing the need for human involvement in everyday processes.
HCLTech will use the UiPath Platform to help companies automate areas such as finance, supply chain, procurement, customer service, marketing, and human resources. The tech giant will also provide ready-to-use AI tools to help businesses start and scale their automation efforts easily.
The goal is to help organisations become more flexible, improve employee productivity, and get quicker returns on their technology investments.
As part of this collaboration, HCLTech and UiPath will set up an AI lab in India. The lab will focus on building industry-specific solutions and small-scale working models that cover everything from planning and implementation to ongoing improvements.
HCLTech will also use its global delivery network to support UiPath customers in regions like North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
Commenting on the partnership, Ashim Gupta, chief operating officer and CFO at UiPath, said, “As we shift towards a new era with agentic AI, agentic automation will be critical to providing businesses with the speed and agility to transform operations and unlock new business potential.”
Raghu Kidambi, corporate vice president at HCLTech, added, “Our proven expertise in hyperautomation, AI and cloud-first architectures helps us provide industry-specific and advanced automation solutions at scale.”
The UiPath Platform offers specialised Autopilot solutions, such as Autopilot for Business Analysts (that can create business intelligence dashboards) and Autopilot for Developers (that can create app interfaces). Agent Builder makes it easy for businesses to build a path to agentic automation without the need for deep technical knowledge.
This new model by UiPath unifies AI agents that make real-time decisions, robots that handle rule-based tasks, and people who guide and oversee the process into a single, intelligent system.
