Neva Sgr, the Intesa Sanpaolo Group’s venture capital company, celebrates its fourth year of operations and launches the new Neva II and Neva II Italia funds: the aim is to invest in companies able to provide business solutions to global problems, with a capacity of €500 million, double that of the Neva First funds.

More specifically, the new funds target companies operating in sectors of priority importance for the future of the planet, such as:

  • life sciences (e.g. in the medical field for the treatment of oncological and autoimmune diseases)
  • energy transition
  • digital transformation
  • next-generation manufacturing and aerospace.

For the new funds, Neva Sgr has set the following new targets:

  • Neva II, which aims at achieving final funding of around €400 million, will invest in highly innovative start-ups worldwide
  • Neva II Italia, which plans to raise €100 million, will be dedicated to Italian companies.
