We’re thrilled to welcome Shreya Shekhar as the newest member of Greylock’s investing team.
Shreya will focus on working with early-stage founders across AI, cybersecurity, infrastructure and developer tooling.
Shreya has a strong passion for startups, and was most recently a founding engineer at Bedrock Security, a company incubated at Greylock’s Menlo Park offices. At Bedrock she worked across engineering and product, most notably building the company’s distributed crawler and leading development of AI agents for vulnerability remediation. Shreya has also been a partner to founders as an angel, investing in companies like Mercor and Composite.
Before Bedrock, Shreya graduated from UC Berkeley’s selective M.E.T (Management, Entrepreneurship, & Technology) program, earning degrees in EECS (Electrical Engineering & Computer Science) and Business Administration. While at Berkeley, she interned at several companies including Greylock-backed Abnormal AI and Rockset, and Glean and Meta. She also won grants from the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and Berkeley SkyDeck to work on a startup initiative.
Shreya’s passion for startups and technology is complemented by her artistic pursuits. When she’s not reading systems papers or brainstorming with founders, you can find her sketching, painting, or preparing for her next Indian classical dance performance.
Shreya has been a rising star at three Greylock portfolio companies, making a meaningful impact as an operator long before this moment. We’re thrilled to have her continue to work with the very best founding teams – now from the investing side. She’ll be partnering with early-stage teams building in AI, cybersecurity and infrastructure – categories where Greylock has a deep history, with investments in companies like Abnormal AI, Baseten, Braintrust, LlamaIndex, Palo Alto Networks and Rubrik.
