Judges have pored over a record-breaking batch of entries at the 2025 Irish News Workplace & Employment Awards (WEA), which culminates at a gala dinner in Titanic Belfast on Thursday May 29.
Chairing an 11-strong adjudication panel was leading businesswoman and current Tourism NI chair Ellvena Graham OBE.
She was joined by representatives of the awards initiative’s business partners, including Orlagh O’Neill (Carson McDowell), Colleen Murray (Options Technology), Joanne Mallon (Queen’s University Belfast), Donal Laverty (Baker Tilly Mooney Moore), Olivia Stewart (NI Chamber), Sarah McCusker (Calibro Workspace), Matthew McCormick (Open College Network NI), Chris Overend (Finnebrogue) and Nicola Russell (nijobfinder), along with Irish News business editor Gary McDonald.
The short list of finalists will be announced in the Irish News’ Business Insight pages on Tuesday April 15.
Winners will then be revealed at the awards dinner itself on May 29, hosted by Q Radio breakfast presenter and top Irish comedian Andrew Ryan.
