Building or rebalancing your portfolio and wondering what investments to consider next?
Here’s what leading experts featured on BNN Bloomberg say investors should consider adding and dropping from their portfolios today.

In your opinion, what single investment should investors own right now — and why?
Flowserve
We recently started a position in Flowserve (FLS), a leader in industrial pumps and valves serving the oil and gas and nuclear industry.
With the war in Iran, countries are going to need tor rebuild their energy infrastructure and re-invest in LNG. This plays right into Flowserve’s strength. It typically earns maintenance work on projects it is designed into.
In Nuclear, its recent acquisition of Trillium Valves Division increases its exposure to nuclear by 40 per cent. It serves over 300 reactors globally.
From your perspective, what is one investment investors should consider dropping from their portfolios — and why?
Starbucks
We have owned Starbucks since 2022, believing in the power of its brand and were encouraged when Brian Niccol was brought in as CEO in 2024. While we think Starbucks has stabilized the business, it was forced to dramatically increase its labour expenses leading to deep earnings cut. With the shares at 30 times next years earnings, we think there are better values in the market.
