“Subscription” electricity packages are the new product in the energy market.
For the first time, electricity consumers will be able to choose a fixed subscription tariff each month, including all charges to third parties, instead of a monthly payment based on kilowatt-hours consumed.
This new product that Protergia presented on Tuesday is aimed at households and small businesses.
Meanwhile, PPC has already begun informing its customers by letter that as of August 1 the tiered charge is changing and the low charge is limited to 200 KWh compared to 500 KWh today. From 200 KWh, the charge will increase automatically.
