Skill training helps six persons with disabilities get employment in Perambalur

Six persons with disabilities, who had completed skill training under the Leather Sector Skill Council and Tamil Nadu Rights Project in Perambalur, received course completion certificates and employment orders on Wednesday.

Collector Grace Pachuau handed over the certificates to 40 persons with disabilities and employment orders to work at the Kothari Phoenix Footwear in Perambalur to 6 of them in the presence of J. Rafiq Ahmed, chairman, Kothari Phoenix Company, and Sanjay Kumar, managing director, Leather Sector Skill Council.

Forty persons with disabilities from Perambalur district were provided 45 days of skill development training with the aim of creating employment opportunities through the Leather Sector Skill Council and the Tamil Nadu Rights Project.
